Makes sense. July is usually hot and humid and an ice cream cone sounds so tempting. Ah, talk about tempting, did you realize that six months have passed since we made our New Year’s resolutions? How are you doing with your resolutions? Did you give up smoking, drinking or eating too many sweets? Are you exercising more by jogging, joining a gym, or using the stairs instead of the elevator?  If you are like me, my resolve dissolved quickly, and now that half a year has passed, I can barely remember what my resolutions were!

But thankfully, there is probably a support group to help motivate us to finally achieve our goals. Want to stop drinking? There’s Alcoholics Anonymous, SMART Recovery (non-12 step), dual diagnosis groups, among others. Still overeating? Consider joining Overeaters Anonymous or TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensible).  Do you finally want to get rid of all your junk? There’s Clutterers Anonymous to help you along.

Whatever your resolution, there is probably a group available to help you. If not, why not start your own? The Clearinghouse can help you every step of the way!
